The village has its own natural fresh water pond that doubles up as a swimming pool. The property is a perfect go to destination for all seasons. The trees acts as natural coolers and summers are more pleasant at the village, as one can actually feel the temperature drop a few degrees on entering the village then.

Hidden village is all about a natural getaway, a breath of fresh air among the greenery of a forested landscape. Convenient for those living in central railway side up to CST terminal, (option to travel without your car) deboard at Atgaon Station from the CST Kasara local train, there are rickshaws that take you 2 kms away to our spot, with a fixed charge. Unlike the long drives to tourist destinations in Karjat, Palghar, Nasik or Satara Hidden Village is just one hour drive from Thane, on the Mumbai Nasik highway. We don’t have any policy of objecting any pets accompanying our guests, unless it does not create trouble for other guests nor does any harm to the property.
Kids love to chase, pat or even hold these which is so enthralling to their young minds. Some adults, but children especially enjoy the presence of these in the village that adds up to their excitement. Roosters, Guinea fowls, Geese, Turkeys & Ducks move around freely while goats go out to graze. Animals like Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Budgerigars, Cockatoos are fenced and caged.
The village has its own space dedicated for the resident animals that often roam around freely, unchallenged by the staff or the visitors, the turkeys are a bit spoilt brats who like to throw weight scaring newcomers. All staff are local villagers who are simple yet passionate about the property and work hard to see it sustain and grow over the years. The set-up of the rooms is such the veranda or its private sit out is not visible from common sight of fellow guests and the staff. The village ensures privacy of our esteemed guests as we ensure every bit to make the stay enjoyable and memorable. Hidden Village is a perfect set up for romantic getaway for couples. The design of the bridges blends excellently well with the forest back drop and the water beneath, especially in the rains. The waterway that moves down has taken shape into natural nullahs and there are crossovers at various junctions where wooden bridges are constructed. The forest floor is not flat, but majorly uneven. The landscape of Hidden Village is unspoilt, untouched by excavator machines, a handy work of nature and human. Although seasonal it adds to the aesthetic nature of the village, where some relax enjoying the continuous waterfall sounds.

The pathway of this water provides for a seasonal waterfall, under which children and adults frolic alike enjoying the near hydrotherapy like massage. July to December, monsoon waters rush through the village downwards from the upper terrain of mountains and lake behind, higher in elevation from us. It’s the same fish used in Malls trending as Fish Pedicure, but is endemic here.
